PARTY PLANNER
Hi! I am Ellene, the Head Games Master and founder of PARTY FRIENDS.
My second son was a year old when I decided to be
a full time party planner. A party planner? Many friends were
surprised as I had been in the construction industry as a civil
engineer for 10years! Turning a hobby into a full time job was not an
easy decision to make but I certainly have no regrets.
My
two active and wonderful boys will turn 13 and 9 this year. I wish I
can
say that the elder one has left the toys stage and I can now
strike
out Toys R Us from the "must visit each month" list.....Unfortunately
NOT! He still loves to play with Lego, Nerf, Bey Blades....even Buzz
Light Year and Woody! The younger one has somehow transformed into a
football
fanatic during the World Cup season last year. We now "fight" for
the TV channel
as Sports is his No. 1 channel. Occasionally, screams of DO NOT KICK
THE BALL anywhere near the potted plants can be heard.
This year, PARTY FRIENDS enters its 8th year of
kids
party planning adventure and we are enjoying every moment of this
business of providing interactive fun to kids and their parents.
We even had the chance to be the "Royal" party
planner when we conducted a party at Istana Negara in May 2007.
It
was
indeed an experience to be cherished and it was an honour to
serve our beloved King and Queen!
We had also successfully set the Malaysia Book of
Records in August 2007 for having the largest number of participation
(kids) in a muffin baking event at KL Tower. The event was
organized in conjunction with the 50th Merdeka Celebration and the KL
International Base Jump.
Apart from birthday parties, we have been busy
with corporate clients
too. We love working with organizations which place importance in
nurturing family values within the organization.
In 2008, we were busy organizing the PRU BSN
Funtastic Family Explorace in Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Alor Star, Penang
and KL.
It was indeed a wonderful experience to meet so many children and
parents at each location of the explorace. In 2009, we had another fun
adventure in Alor Star as we were given the responsibility of
organizing the Alor Star Tower Heritage Race.
I have seen little boys grow from the BARNEY
stage to BEN10 and STAR WARS and little girls whom once asked
for Fairies and Princesses are now asking for SPA & SALON parties.
So, where do I get ideas for my games and
activities? Thank you
very much kids for giving me the inspiration. Children never seem to be
short of ideas. My kids seem to always be up to
something......even
if I take away all their toys for a day......they will never be
bored!!
PARTY FRIENDS was formed
for parents all over the world with children who just want to have fun
interaction with friends and families through normal daily activities.
PARTY FRIENDS is run by professionals in
various fields. Our parties are interactive and
structured. We put in lots of effort in planning
and conducting a party to ensure that the kids and
their parents have an enjoyable time.
Good party planning involves creativity,
precision, good co-ordination and of course quality "workmanship"
too.
Since March 2003, we have conducted over
2,000
parties and provided a new
party
experience and "Good Food, Great Fun"®
to over 30,000 kids from various
nations and background. We hope to meet more kids who just want
to have fun and enjoy life to the fullest.
